| ELECTRICAL DESIGNER |
|
Responsibilities will include: |
|
 | Design of interior, exterior, sports and specialty lighting
systems using state of the art lighting equipment. |
| Design of power distribution systems consisting of building
service entrances, switchgear, panelboards, motor control center and
variable frequency drives. Knowledge of high voltage distribution
systems is a plus. |
| Design of security, CCTV and nurse call systems. |
| Layout of fire alarm systems to meet codes using addressable
or hard wired zoned type systems. Voice evacuation, smoke purge
control and computer fire alarm systems. |
| Writing of comprehensive specifications for all required
electrical components. |
|
|
Preferences: |
|
| Knowledge of the National Electrical Code, local and state
governing codes. |
| General understanding of the construction process, including
cost estimating, bidding, construction observation and final commissioning
of electrical systems. |
| Veterans will receive additional consideration. |
